A well-established mechanical contractor on the North Shore is looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our growing commercial division. This role requires a strong background in managing commercial projects ranging from $50K to $4M, with a particular emphasis on sheet metal systems, refrigeration piping, condensate piping hydronic piping, and control systems. Estimating experience helpful but not required. The HVAC Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from award to completion.
Responsibilities include:
- Contract and plans/specs review
- Bid preparation and subcontractor buyouts
- Managing submittals and RFIs
- Coordination and procurement
- Monthly billing and change orders
- Job site progress tracking and field verification
- Weekly site meetings and internal scheduling
- Creating and maintaining O&M manuals and as-built drawings
- Project closeout and documentation
